Nature is wise. We can find all of what it’s good for out bodies in nature. The properties of fruits and vegetables are unlimited and some of them still unknown.

Let’s face it; while Peruvian culture and cuisine are indeed interesting, the real reason I’m making the journey to that nation with Gunnar Engblom and Kolibri Expeditions is to see and photograph wildlife – particularly that belonging to the Class Aves.
The American philosopher Henry David Thoreau famously said “beware of all enterprises that require new clothes.” I have somewhat modified this bit of advice to better suit (sorry…) my own life: “beware of all enterprises that do not require new books.”
As July of this year gets into full swing, I expect to be planting my boots upon Peruvian soil for the first time in my life as a member of one of Gunnar Engblom and Kolibri Expeditions’ Manu tours.
