OK, I think I’ve done it correctly this time. The new website is up for Born Again Bird Watcher LLC.
Why the additional domain name? Well, I’ve had the original Born Again Bird Watcher domain name attached to the blog for well over a year now. Since that time many feeds and links have been established to it. Rather than risk rendering all those invalid and losing readers as a result, and as the website is more expansive in scope (it covers all aspects of my professional work including my consulting and freelance writing activities) it just seemed logical to publish it under a unique domain.
Could there have been a more sophisticated way to accomplish this? Most certainly. However as I am doing this on my own and learning the necessary tools (XHTML, CSS, etc.) primarily through reading manuals as I go, I consider the fact that I have the site up and functional as a significant achievement. Over time, it will be refined and improved (well-meant suggestions and criticisms are most heartily welcome). However until then, the famous words of Puck apply:
Gentles, do not reprehend:
if you pardon, we will mend:
And, as I am an honest Puck,
If we have unearned luck
Now to ‘scape the serpent’s tongue,
We will make amends ere long
Peace and good bird watching.
