Over the past few years I’ve found much to appreciate in Dr. Corinne Wieben’s podcast Enchanted; the History of Magic & Witchcraft, particularly when she takes up an aspect of the natural world. For example, in the recent episode titled The Red Branch, she presents a number of myths, legends, and practices that pertain to trees.
Whether your interest in trees brings you to consider them from a natural history, a spiritual, or a mythological perspective, this episode – like many others of the podcast – provides something for a wide range of interests, and is superbly presented as well, making it well worth hearing even just for pure enjoyment’s sake.
