The other day, my Twitter feed told me that I should download and listen to a podcast with which I was unfamiliar. As I have spent quite a lot of time and effort curating my Twitter feed so that it provides me with useful information, I took it’s advice and downloaded the most recent episode of The Naturalist Podcast.

As podcasts go, it’s pretty casual – chatty, even – but certainly interesting in its eclectic and wide-ranging approach to natural history. Episode 11 includes segments on Fishers, the the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive, and even a short review of the recently published Princeton Field Guides volume Field Guide to the Fishes of the Amazon, Orinoco, and Guianas.

I’ll certainly be downloading recent previous episodes to see what has already been covered, and eagerly awaiting the next appearing in my podcast playlist.
