Oregon State University Press recently published a very interesting and insight-filled interview with Aimee Lyn Eaton, author of Collared; Politics and Personalities in Oregon’s Wolf Country. For those in areas where wolf reïntroduction is a vigorously contested subject, Eaton’s words in both this interview as well as from her 2013 published book should come as a refreshingly rational break from what is too-often the hyperbole generated from both sides of the debate. For those outside of proposed reïntroduction areas, both of these sources of information should be considered essential in acquiring an understanding of the subject as a whole.
