The beginning of autumn 2012 saw the publication of the one-hundred-twenty-first volume of the Collins’ New Naturalists series Partridges by G.R. Potts.
Devoted entirely to the three species of partridge found in Great Britain, the Grey, Red-legged and Chukar, Partridges contains not only extensive life histories of these birds but devotes significant space to the relationship between them and humans, and the conservation measures that have recently been taken in regard to them.
